• It's also a CMS.
• It has a large, robust, and friendly community.
• Collaboration is the key to success.
• Openness is fundamental.
• Open source is philosophically aligned with public media goals.
• Free software is not actually free. There are costs of "ownership."
• One of those costs is community participation.
• Anyone can contribute to Drupal.
• Drupal is an extensible and flexible platform for development.
• But it might not be right for your needs. (Use the right tool for the right job.)
• There are downloadable applications built on Drupal that can be used right now for public media.
